Amjaad Group In Country Value
Amjaad Group adopted and implemented the In-Country Value (ICV) Program, which is a government initiative in Oman with the goal of enhancing economic performance and assisting regional businesses by directing higher amounts of public spending toward the domestic economy. Amjaad Group is keen to reach the highest levels of ICV through:
-
Increasing Omanisation and developing the skills of the national workforce.
-
Increasing in-country spending on local services (Local Omanis SMEs).
Amjaad Group is registered and complied with the ICV certificates via the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, The General Secretariat of the Tender Boards, the Ministry of Labour, and the Business Gate-Way Platform.
In an effort to maximize the industry’s contribution to social and economic development in the country, Amjaad Group works on continuous enhancement of the In-Country Value (ICV) on the highest level of the Group’s Top management marking the beginning of the ICV journey. The objectives behind setting up this strategy are to group SMEs and executives from various type of sectors, with a key role in providing guidance and services to ICV development and be part of the group projects in terms of executions and delivery, which in return should share and raise opportunities while coordinating the efforts of the industry.
Our Group ICV Policy is supported by two pillars acting as the custodians of key ICV development areas in the local market. The first is Contracting & Procurement (C&P) which is focused on any business-related opportunities covering the sourcing of real estate services with qualified local SMEs, while the second is the Human Resource (HR) dedicated to building and promoting human resources (Omanization) development within the group subsidiaries.
